Happy Birthday! Saint-Boniface : 100 years ! Canada : 141 years ! Québec City : 400 years ! The flags on display in front of the Old City Hall were created on July 1st by community residents and visitors to St Boniface as part of Art in Action and the Canada Day celebrations held on Provencher Boulevard. Children and Adults alike had fun making flags in a gesture of salute and celebration for St Boniface’s 100th anniversary, Canada’s 141st birthday as well as the Ciyt of Quebec’s 400th anniversary. The flags will fly throughout July and August 2008. Thanks to all the participants who created the flags! |
